Ingrid Sabisch was born in Nuremberg in 1972 and currently lives there. She works as a freelance illustrator and comic artist. Her main focus is on historical and autobiographical comics. She studied communication design at the Würzburg University of Applied Sciences, with a focus on animated film. Erasmus scholarship 1994-95 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium, animated film. From 1995 to 2000 she worked as an animator at the Stuttgart animation studio Studio Film Bilder. Since 2000 she has been a freelance illustrator and comic artist.
