The seminar offers the opportunity to develop an abstract painting with individual expression. It covers and addresses essential elements of contemporary and modern painting. Whether informal-gestural, neo-expressive, or color-reduced approaches, with the support of the instructor, paintings with painterly intensity can be realized. In this 6-day seminar, all previous experiences with painting will be called upon. Their effectiveness can be continuously reviewed in the painting process and adapted to one’s own inner situation. The prerequisite you should bring is the willingness to move in uncharted territory. The seminar is a journey into an abstract world, whose laws and rules gradually reveal themselves from painting to painting. The seminar will be accompanied by short lectures on the topic. Painting will be done with acrylic paints on canvas.
