It’s about landscapes on canvas. Although we were inspired by real landscapes, the painted landscapes should be characterised more by their freedom and abstract nature, perhaps dreamy and wild, perhaps gloomy or summery, evoking a real landscape or almost entirely free painting. It will be an exciting, painterly experiment to switch back and forth between these extremes until we finally find the landscapes on our canvas with the atmosphere, mood, colourfulness and special features we want. The size of the canvases is completely up to you, from smaller works for a more serial approach to extremely large canvases. The MoWve you use as a guide should be the landscapes you are drawn to or have a connection with. It will be pure painting!

To ensure that everyone is well prepared on the first day, there will be an online preliminary meeting via ZOOM. If anyone is unable to attend, the preliminary meeting will be recorded. 13-18 July Preliminary meeting via ZOOM – Friday, 29 May – 7-8 p.m.
