A four-day intensive workshop focusing on architectural drawing and representational painting from the perspective of the urban landscape. Participants will first acquire a basic understanding of classical drawing principles – perspective, proportion and composition – before venturing into more expressive and interpretative areas: abstraction, tonal values and atmospheric
colour schemes. Watercolour painting is introduced step by step from the very first day – initially through glazing, tinting and monochrome studies – to build up the skills and confidence needed for a full day of painting on the fourth day. Drawing on Nima’s dual background as an architect and representational painter, the workshop combines technical precision with creative freedom. No prior experience in drawing or painting is required. The course is aimed at both complete beginners and participants with some drawing experience who wish to refine their technique. Weather permitting, outdoor sessions are also possible.
