The Gallery

CURRENTLY NO EXHIBITIONS

can take place in the Städtische Galerie im Alten Feuerhaus.

The Altes Feuerhaus underwent some changes both inside and out in the course of 2019. With the removal of the pillars on the left wall, we now have an outstanding presentation wall up to 6 m high, the small niche has also been straightened, giving us even more hanging space. The entrance doors were then redesigned in 2020, allowing a clearer view into the gallery in future.

We have revised our program lines for the Städtische Galerie once again:

#studio: these are group exhibitions from courses at the Academy that make the results of our program and the successful work of the Academy and our graduates visible.

#region: under this label we present artists from the region in order to introduce the intensive and diverse artistic work of the area to a wider public. We look forward to hearing from you!

#horiziont: solo or themed exhibitions by nationally and/or internationally renowned artists.

#cooperation: in this series we show exhibitions in cooperation with other institutions such as the Association of German Architects.
