The aim of this course is to reproduce the head and the human body using simplified forms. A meaningful watercolor is always the result of knowing what to leave out.
I will demonstrate step-by-step methods for achieving both clear forms and fresh colors in your watercolors.
Another aspect of this course is the emphasis on light and shadow. The optimal distribution of tonal values (white, light, medium and dark) creates atmosphere and depth.
We work with various illustrative materials, which I bring with me, but also with models on site.
Previous drawing experience is helpful but not required.
