We devote ourselves to nude drawing as an artistic experiment, focusing on topics such as body-scene-space, slow motion, portraiture, the grotesque and emotion. The focus is on developing a liberated visual language and the question of image creation: How can I abstract and transform what I see? How can I try out new approaches – and also give loss of control a chance? What can nude drawing be? An encounter with the model. An encounter with myself.
We work in series. Selected music creates an expanded space and gives us impulses for our graphic ‘expressive dance’. I am happy to respond to individual ideas and accompany you based on your own work. In joint image discussions, we look for criteria for image creation in the context of contemporary art. The free play of materials lends itself to this: drawing, painting, monotype, encaustic, collage, colour or black and white – minimal or maximal.
