Would you like to try drawing the nude, but don’t quite feel confident enough yet? Or do you already have some experience and would like to continue studying proportions and drawing techniques at your own pace, whilst gaining the freedom to pursue your own artistic path? In my course, you’re free to experiment: with pencil, charcoal, chalk, ink or watercolour, in both small and large formats. We’ll start with long, meditative poses and move on to slow-motion dance-like movements and playful set-ups with props. Our model will serve as inspiration – and help you let go of the controlling ‘right or wrong’ mindset when drawing. This creates space for spontaneous, lively drawing and for your own surprising solutions. And if you’d like, I’ll sing Italian arias to accompany the session. This helps you relax – and sparks the imagination! By the end, you might well be amazed by your own work.
