Born in Hamburg in 1963. Learned watercolor painting from the Hamburg painter Peter Lübbers. Studied classical archeology. Has been a freelance painter since 1995. Lives and works in the deserts of the world, with a studio in Hamburg. Numerous exhibitions in galleries and museums. Lectures and teaches in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France.
