Jerry Zeniuk / Born in 1945, the son of Ukrainian refugees in a temporary camp in Bardowick near Lüneburg / The family emigrated to the United States in 1950, where Zeniuk grew up and received his education in Boulder, Colorado / In 1969 he moved to New York / In the 1970s he spent a longer period in Hamburg and Berlin, where he held a DAAD scholarship / He gained a foothold in Europe early on through numerous exhibitions / In 1992 he was appointed professor at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts / Today, Zeniuk lives and works alternately in New York and Munich.
