The course takes place at Atelier Gruber in Bad Dürrnberg near Hallein in Austria. We’d be happy to arrange accommodation for you near the studio (approx. 5 mins away).
On this course, you’ll have the opportunity to express yourself freely using the natural material of clay.
With creativity and a keen enjoyment of artistic expression, you will bring your own works of art to life in clay. Whilst the basics are covered, the focus is on the artistic process. Furthermore, the exciting and fascinating technique of bronze casting will be explained using images and models. If you wish, you can have the artworks you have created cast here in our studio. The casting takes place directly in our studio, separately from the course. You are warmly invited to be present whilst your sculptures are being cast. The costs for this are not included in the course fee; they depend on the size and complexity of the artwork. We’d be happy to provide you with a quote! The patina and finishing of the cast bronze sculptures can also be carried out together, if desired. The finished sculptures can also be posted to you.
