In this inspiring seminar, I invite you to discover the fascinating world of small formats in painting – and to take your first steps into larger formats. Small formats (up to max. 60 x 40 cm) open up an intimate, almost poetic dimension of artistic expression: they encourage you to focus on the essentials, leave room for subtle nuances and invite you to look closely.
Their versatility makes smaller formats ideal for serial work – like lyrical miniatures, they tell stories in condensed form. Together, we will develop exciting image ideas from your own sketches or photographic templates and implement them in a playful and experimental way.
A wide variety of materials are available: acrylic, gouache, watercolour, pastel – and oil on request. This leaves plenty of creative space for your personal signature.
The focus is on image composition, expression and the joy of the creative process. You will learn different techniques and structures and develop a sound understanding of colour theory, which will help you to develop your own artistic style.
Daily individual image reviews accompany you on your journey and provide space for exchange, reflection and new inspiration.
