In this five-day course, we will be exploring landscape painting – not outdoors in nature, but in our peaceful, well-
equipped studio in Bad Reichenhall. Using photographs, sketches and your own ideas as a starting point, you will create highly personal works in which composition, colour choice and brushwork take centre stage. The course is suitable for both beginners and
advanced students. You will learn the basics of landscape painting or build on your existing skills, exploring topics such as composition, the sense of space and the atmosphere created by light. There is a particular emphasis on personal expression: how can you create a specific atmosphere through the application of paint and brushwork? And which techniques help you to further develop your own painting style? The week offers plenty of time for focused work – with personalised guidance as well as opportunities for discussion, questions and creative development.
