Sculptures are created using clay, a traditional and easy-to-work material, taking into account techniques appropriate to the material and its specific possibilities. With an eye to the rules of figurative art, such as proportions and the basics of human anatomy, we can give free rein to our imagination – right up to abstractions in clay. Taking into account the static possibilities of the material, we will work together to develop the sculpture according to each individual’s theme. Starting from an idea or a mental image, I will accompany the course participants in the practical implementation. I will demonstrate various technical approaches and implementation options, offer solutions to any problems that arise and provide support based on my many years of experience.
Curiosity and interest are the most important prerequisites for this course. Depending on previous experience, the size and degree of difficulty of the sculpture can be chosen.
