My main aim in this course is to help participants learn to understand painting as a multi-layered process, the course and development of which are subject to constant change – painting as a succession of new beginnings and upheavals, painting as a continuous ‘deposition’ and condensation of artistic energy on the path towards a picture. The seminar requires prior experience of painting. Each participant can and should work in their usual technique. Please bring photos or catalogues of your own works. There are no restrictions on format.
