My main aim in this course is to learn to understand painting as a multi-layered process, the course and development of which is subject to constant change – painting as a sequence of upheavals and distortions, painting as a constant ‘depositing’ and condensing of pictorial energy on the way to a picture. The seminar requires painting experience. Each participant can and should work in their usual technique. Please bring photos or catalogues of your own works. There is no format limit.
