The focus of this course is learning different techniques of oil and acrylic painting, from layered painting to spatula techniques on canvas. Our subject is landscape, where we use experiences and memories, natural phenomena, and the influence of light and shadow as a source of inspiration.
First, we will deal with the choice of motifs based on designs on paper, using so-called oil or acrylic sketches. In the next step, we will solve pictorial problems such as colour transitions and gradients, contrasts, pastosity and colour flow on the canvas.
I will address the respective needs and problems in one-on-one and group discussions.
The course is suitable for beginners and advanced students.
