Starting from an initial idea, an open artistic process emerges that balances planning, chance, discipline and spontaneous intuition. At the heart of this is a dynamic dialogue with the canvas – working in the flow.
Thematic and formal boundaries are explored, expanded and developed individually. Participants’ own materials, such as photos, sketches, texts, music or films, can be incorporated in a targeted manner. Basic painting techniques, existing knowledge and artistic concerns are taken into account in a nuanced way and developed appropriately.
We encourage experimental, playful and bold approaches. Through serial work, personal, project-oriented visual languages emerge – beyond rigid categories such as abstract or representational. The joy of creative activity accompanies the entire process.
