The studio weeks offer a professional opportunity to engage intensively with one’s own artistic process and expression and to advance essential aspects of our artistic will on both a formal and content-related level. The various possibilities available to us in painting – be they material, compositional or historical – are not seen as fixed categories, but rather as tools for their own further development. We will explore alternative approaches, both in dealing with traditional oppositions such as concept and form, representation and abstraction, depth and flatness, as well as realism and imagination. During the 3 weeks you will use the time to question your artistic work and yourself: Where do I stand? What moves me? How can I further develop and strengthen my artistic expression? In exchange with the group and in dialog with your own work, the aim is to consistently pursue your own artistic path and develop the ability to make clearer decisions. My aim is to enhance your ability to develop individual artistic solutions with increasing skill, perseverance and creative perspective. You will both utilize and transcend traditional categories to better understand your own practice and improve your painting techniques. Two film evenings per week and a visit to an exhibition in Salzburg are also on the program. Previous experience is required and those interested are asked to contact the instructor in advance<span style=”color: #ff0000;”>(endyhupperich@yahoo.com or by phone via WhatsApp and Signal at: 0052-5564 6874 89)
