Here, freely inspired woodcut meets an unconventional approach to the printing process in hand-printed editions. The results are multi-layered, spatial, raised, three-dimensional and surprising.
The printing block serves us not merely as what it appears to be. It is pure inspiration!

Many unexpected possibilities and messages can be found within it. With every sheet we peel away, we draw out the secrets hidden within it. From a single printing plate, a universe can emerge, imbued with your artistic intention and unique expressiveness. Sometimes this happens in a single, sudden burst. Other sheets we develop further. We create monotypes, collages and embossings with the carved plates, and print transparencies. Let yourself be surprised. Let yourself fall into your creative world and move within it just as you are.
What inspires you?

Everything you learn in this workshop can easily be continued at home, as we do not need a printing press and work without toxic cleaning agents.
