Encountering oneself in the painting process, exploring new paths, becoming enthusiastic about the unexpected and learning a lot about the important aspects of composition and the craft of painting are essential components of this course. The painting process itself is the main source of inspiration.
This course
goes further and is by no means devoted to pretty pictures. I want more
more personality, more craftsmanship, more form and reduction.
You are free to choose your own subject matter. You can work in a representational, abstract or abstract style and learn to create expressive paintings using a reduced visual language. This results in new images that leave room for interpretation.
