Cinema offers us so many possibilities. It’s not about recreating scenes from films,
but rather transferring them into your own form of artistic expression,
perhaps using completely different colours, or incredibly freely with a
minimum of reality, large-scale on canvas or small and serial on paper.
You decide which films you want to refer to, whether classics such as ‘Miss
Marple’ or ‘Don’t Look Now’, or art films such as those by Lars von Trier.
Science fiction or action films, cartoons or the Augsburger Puppenkiste, all
cinematic adaptations can be the inspiration for your pictures. It will be a feast of your
own cinematic memories and preferences.

To ensure that everyone is well prepared on the first day, there will be an online preliminary meeting via
ZOOM. If anyone is unable to attend, the preliminary meeting will be recorded.
