This course with internationally renowned artist Manuela Karin Knaut focuses on experimentation. Different painting techniques and simple printing methods open up new avenues of abstract design. Participants make their own painting tools and explore their creative possibilities. If desired, canvases can also be stretched together. With her many years of experience as a lecturer and art educator, Manuela Karin Knaut guides participants in using chance as an artistic medium and finding individual forms of expression. We work primarily with acrylic paints and pigments, but numerous other materials such as markers, oil pastels and watercolour pencils are also used. In addition to medium and large formats on canvas, different types of paper will also be available for experimental work.
