How can wonderful light moods be depicted in watercolour? The most diverse cloud formations, but also magical, atmospheric haze or fog situations against the light? How do we paint dramatic cloud formations or very delicate, light-flooded skies with simple means? Playful water reflections, gentle waves or stormy surf waves with splashing spray? It’s relatively easy to conjure up light and atmosphere in watercolour – if you know the tricks… We will first look at the composition, choice of colours and colour temperature. The mixing of colours will be demonstrated in detail using practical examples. And – if it enhances the picture – we will enliven our watercolour with figures. Anyone who knows me knows that I share all my tips and tricks. There are no secrets with me. If you follow these tips, you too will be surprised at how easy it is to get to grips with some painting situations. Of course, there will also be regular, detailed picture discussions with correction tips. If desired, also with assistance.
Important note:
This course is not suitable for beginners. Independent, confident drawing and a solid knowledge of watercolour painting are required.
