‘Human life demands harmony and rhythm at every moment.’
Plato

Shift work … A gentle exploration, a dialogue between intuition and reflection. It is not about perfection, but about letting things grow, decay and be rediscovered – a play between chance and decision, between control and surrender. A process of letting go and rediscovering, of concealing and revealing – of embracing the unpredictable.
We begin by opening our eyes with perception exercises on smaller panels, allowing ourselves to take in what is there and what wants to become. Layer by layer, pictorial spaces emerge – collaged forms appear and disappear, lines leave traces. Colour seeps in, thickens, is removed and reborn. Each layer tells a story, each trace is an echo of the previous one. What remains visible? What is concealed? And where does the poetry of the image emerge?
Let us immerse ourselves with joy in a world of complexity.
Everything can be tried out, combined and reinterpreted. The courses offer space for free experimental work – and the development of your own creative expression.
You can work with any tools you like: paintbrushes, brushes, spatulas, rags and your hands.
I will demonstrate different possibilities and techniques, including working with liquid wax and collage techniques. Building on your personal knowledge, I will respond to your individual wishes and interests. There will be joint discussions of the pictures.
Anyone who enjoys colour, shapes and experimentation is welcome, whether you are experienced or less experienced on the path to mastery! And enjoy the unexpected!
